OLD FRIENDS

My co-in-laws came by today. I guess that's what you call em... You know, my sons in-laws and we're their daughters in-laws. Well it was about the best time I've had in a long time. Brandi and I talked about old times and new. Penny and Autumn talked about sewing and quilting (what else), and the kids had a good time playing the Wii.

Brandi is working on a masters degree in spiritual guidance (?). I forget what he called it, but I know it;s nothing like a spiritual advisor that sits on top of a mountain and passes out wisdom. I think basically It teaches to uncomplicate (my word) from the religiosity that we get wrapped up in and follow Jesus. I know we don't like people to even insinuate that we are not followers of Jesus when we have in fact been in the (or a) church fellowship for all our lives, but the idea could bear some attention.

Anyway, I couldn't get them to leave early enough so I felt it only proper to offer them to stay for pizza... which they did, puttin me out a few bucks.

Brandi and Penny haven't changed a lot, but the kids sure did. I t was really nice to see all of em again, and I think "Lord willing" we might get in a visit at their home when we make our world tour in July to see our other kids.

One thing I did notice that changed is that Brandi didn't sit in the car for 30 min. waiting on Penny when they left. :-)

LOVE YOU GUYS
